EDRA Apartments is a small family business of 6 apartments located at the south coast of Crete (Rethymnon region) on the top of a hill in a walking distance of only 400 meters away from the beautiful sundy beach of Plakias. The view due to the location of Fedra apartments is very nice. In the 4000 sq.m. private area that Fedra apartments are built there is plenty of space for playground, parking and gardens with grass palm trees & olive trees around the building.

Accommodation summary
Fedra apartments consists of 4 spacious apartments (TYPE-B) and 2 studios (TYPE-A) witch are suitable for your holidays in Crete with your family or your friends. Fedra apartments in Crete have private large balconies with very nice view to the beautiful bay of Plakias. Each of the 2 TYPE-A Fedra Studios can host 2 persons. Studios are Open Plan designed with bedroom corner and a fully equipped kitchen corner as well as a spacious bathroom/shower. Each of the 4 TYPE-B Fedra Apartments can host up to 4 persons. All TYPE-B apartments have a spacious bathroom/shower, one seperate comfortable bedroom for 2 persons, as well as a seperate living-room/kitchen-room where 2 more persons can be accommodated.

The Area Map - Location
A. The Local Transport
Crete has a main carriageway on the north that connects the four major cities, starting from west Chania, Rethimno, Herakleio and Agios Nicolaos. There are two airports one at Chania (65 km from Rethymno) and one at Herakleio (80 km from Rethymno), and three major ports in the same cities and in Rethimno.

Road Connection of Mirthios-Plakias with the main carriageway of Crete
This is the backbone of the transport in Crete, you can enter using one of the above ports or airports. Every half-hour, buses run along the carriageway between the major cities. At the taxi pick-up point in the airports, the displayed price list includes Plakias as one of their destinations. To come from the airports or ports to Plakias, there is only one road via Rethimno.

C. From Rethymno to FEDRA Apartments in Mirthios-Plakias
Click the picture to enlarge	Fedra Apartments located in Plakias beach of South Rehtymnon 30 kilometers away from Rethymno City. Coming from Chania airport/port to Fedra Apartments in Plakias, you will take the national road with direction to RETHYMNO for about 65 kilometers (if you are coming from Heraklion airport/port you will take the national road with direction to RETHYMNO for about 80 kilometers). When you are close to Rethymno you will exit the national road following a large green sign indicating "SPILI". You will continue with direction uphill (south) to Spili for about 17 kilometers until you find a right junction WITH A SIGN to "Plakias" and "Preveli". You will follow this road to the right and after about 500 meters you will pass through the village of "Koxare", and 4 km after you will enter the "Kourtaliotis" gorge. The next village, just 500 meters, after the exit of the gorge is "Asomatos". Exiting village "Asomatos" you will find a junction where you will turn left (follow the sign to "Plakias"). After 2 kilometers you will find the village of "Lefkogia". You will continue for 2,5 more kilometers and you will find a junction to Plakias where you will turn left (there is sign to "Plakias") and after about 200 meters you will turn left again . You will see Fedra Apartments building in the right side of this road after about 100 meters.
